The "Gift" we have already been given.

ROSE OF SHARRON 2Image by dannie4852 via Flickr

I found the power of forgiveness this week. Tough lesson, and a long time coming; but so powerful. The burden that it releases is so full of emotion, but so peaceful in the end. Faith is a feeling... not a thought. How strange that it takes so long to learn something so simple. It makes one wonders how long they have been sleeping. This is the difference between the conscious and unconscious mind. Finding the inner self is a journey worth taking, as long as the path is clear. Many get hung up on the path itself and forget to listen for the directions. It is not the path, but the voice that comes from within; leading the way. An open mind can be a scary place to be for some, but the only path to peace is to open it up, and let faith guide one through the journey.
When we harbor ill will or blame others for our unhappiness, pain body, and sadness; we collect and carry the weight with us for a long time. Learning to immediately release forgiveness is the only way to stay on a peaceful course. We have already been given the directions, we just have to read them everyday and believe they are the truth. The truth is in the word of God, the only laws are God's laws and when we find them, we must commit them to memory. We must make them the language we use, the thoughts that we have, the information we share, and most of all, the way we live. So much comes in return, although following these laws does not guarantee reward or even compensation, the act itself is reward enough. To see another experience the joy of being forgiven, is joy enough to last a lifetime. To be forgiven is a gift we have already been given, we just have to use our faith to accept it. It will always be worth it in the end. Open your mind today, and if you hear nothing...open the BIBLE and read the truth.

THERE IS A BLESSING IN EVERY EXPERIENCE!

The Thinker, Artist's rendering of the sculpture by Auguste Rodin.Image via WikipediaI’m finding it’s amazing what you can fit into a day! A little micro-managing can always come in handy.

When you have spent time in reflection, the discoveries just keep coming. I am amazed at how much you can really misunderstand another’s perception of an issue that you are both experiencing. Everything “without” is an individual’s perception. Nothing, anyone else experiences, will ever be the same for you. It is impossible, no two people share the same mind (brain), so we are actually blessed with “individual thought (perception) at any given time. Two human beings will not see everything the same in similar experiences. I have realized that there is an experience in my life that is very disturbing because it is something that I personally, would never do, and yet I find that I have in some way enabled this behavior and I am disheartened by that thought. I am not responsible for the other person’s decision or perception, but my experience leads me to believe that I so strongly disagree with this issue that I must distance myself from it, knowing that I can never continue to enable this behavior. This is not judgment, because I do believe each of us makes our own decisions based on our own thoughts and they are reinforced by our feelings, so distancing myself is the only way to no longer enable this behavior.

I have said before there is a blessing in every experience and I am so grateful to have my own perception to choose how I decide to feel in my life, in my day, or at any given time.

Our individual experiences, make us who we are, depending on what we choose to take from each experience. I thank God for the wisdom to know the difference.

A STEP OF FAILURE OVERCOME!

Gift of GodImage by AHMED. (Busy) via FlickrI heard a recording tonight that gave me, not just an AHA moment, but an “over the fence out of the park” moment. Lisa Jimenez ‘s recording of “Claim Your Power Over Fear”, was such an enlightening speech.
“A Step Of Failure Overcome.” “One Step Toward Success.” She says, “If you have never failed then your life is too small”
I immediately understood what she meant, I have always believed that there is a blessing in every experience and we always come out stronger, having learned something of great benefit to us every time. I sadly think I have to modify that to some of us come out stronger. We should all be aware enough of that but we all perceive things through our own experiences and our own mind, so naturally our experiences are different. I am blessed that I see the blessing on the other side of the grief, sadness, loss, pain, death. I hope to share that message as much as I can because that knowledge is one the most poignant things we should already know. Sadly, we all do not. So take her message and share it with as many as you can, and watch in your own life for the blessing on the other side, it is always there, sometimes it takes awhile for the pain to fade a bit first, but if you watch, you will see it, hear it or know it, in your own time.
