Here in what is again, sunny Florida, I find myself transforming from my previous self and confronting issues from my past quite successfully. Having been so separate from this family of people has been hard because I never really knew the truth. The truth will set you free. How many times have you heard that in your lifetime? I see now, in hindsight, as usual, the affect these truths held me back from. I have to say it was my coping mechanism, to not know the truth. Now having been confronted by it; I am free. My mind is more open than anytime in the last decade and I see myself for the person I had hoped others would have seen me. It's true. They knew the goodness in me, and I am so relieved to find that out now.
One should never leave the past unexposed. Take control by seeing what it is for real. I don't have what it takes to battle my blood family over the past right now, but this family is good for me. I wish I had recorded all the conversations I have had about my past to compile them together in a book that would be of help to others. I am working at it and trying to present it in it's true light; but the darkness of it is so evil and frightening I can only do it in short periods of time. Recovery from the memory of those times takes more time than actually confronting the issue, but it is worth it and I feel safe here doing just that.

This quote would have meant nothing to me, had I not been awakened by “The Secret” and transformed even more by Eckhart Tolle…and of course Wayne Dyer.

I read something today in a message from Mike Glaspie that reminded me of that quote.
“Successful people talk about , think about and test ideas. Unsuccessful people talk about and think about people.”

ALSO:
“The price you pay for mediocrity is more than the cost of success.”

In the past year, the way my mind has developed through many hours of personal effort and study, has made me realize the truth of all those quotes. Simple but clear statements that define my new life. I do not care to judge others and I very carefully pick and choose what I think about and talk about. It is a joyful, everyday, effort that I have reaped huge rewards from. I have been happy to share it with friends and family and see the ways that this has also affected them. It is my pleasure when I see that in others.

I wanted to end tonight with a humorous note, and when you see the content you will understand how the tiny miracles in my life show up, this is from my jounal:

So, I am sitting here at 9:30 still have not written my blogs for today and I am enthralled by this pdf file I got in my email today about a case study that shows people are more attracted to negative headlines than they are to positive ones. I am just turning to page 7 when my cat POGO jumps up on the back of the chair next to me to get in the window. Well, he should know by now that it is a no no…but he’s a cat, what can I say. I get him out of the window and go back to page 7 and see this: TRICK #6 CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT. Welcome to what Michele and Kristine call Annie’s world…Meanwhile the cat got back in the window and got really mad when I tried to take him down…They are new blinds…but he doesn’t care.

GOD WILL ANSWER MY PRAYER!

The average person may read this and think “Finally, I have found a way to make my dreams come true, all I have to do is help a few people and then GOD WILL ANSWER MY PRAYER” And then, when their dreams still don’t come true, the first thing they do is turn on God. Seriously, I know people just like this, they lament all the time about how much they do for others and then when they need something it’s not there. Hello…it says “loving and caring”, that is a continuous state of being. That does not mean when you took care of your neighbor’s dog while they went away…It means service for God. Doing for others should be a priority. Of course, you do for your family everyday, I know… we all do that, but that is a choice we make when we choose to have a family. Loving and caring for others is a lot broader than that, it is the essence of you. It becomes you, it is you, and it is just a thought in your mind that gets it going, that shifts your consciousness enough, to move in the direction of those IN NEED.

Loving and caring for others can come in many different ways, it can come by joining service with others to help others, it can come by giving a neighbor a break once a week when they need respite from the kids, the issues of their home life, or just because you love them. It should be innate in all of us, and it probably was, until our parents decided to interfere with nature, as did their parents. We are born without sin, with the essence of God himself, and we learned to shed that as the years went by, learning things the old way. It is time we teach our children the “new” way by setting an example. Set an example of loving and caring for others. Show our children that the true essence of God is in all of us and we should be standing up to the plate every chance we get.

If you want to see the true essence of God then you should visit this blog and join in service to help with this undertaking. Some of the most amazing Moms I have ever seen are part of this giant undertaking and they can use all the help they can get. They can use others blogging for Autism for the month of April, they can use new resources and people to spread the word. Whatever you have to offer, share it here or there, but share it, make a commitment to shift your consciousness for others and then sit and wait…. for the within to answer the call. Stop waiting for what God is going to reward you with, learn selflessness, learn humility and put them to work in the service of causes that need you. There is something for everyone to do in almost every experience we have. There are millions of people, some without homes, food, clothing, shelter and love…help them without expecting reward. You already have the reward, it is in your heart, be grateful for it every morning and every night, everyday.

SNEAKY LITTLE DEVIL!

The Law of Attraction is a sneaky little devil. I was trolling blog sites today looking for the missing link to the monetary part of my quest and I ran across a couple of sites run by parents, families and friends of Autisim and Aspergers. Naturally I felt compelled to offer service and made a point of putting it on my ODD website.
Funny thing is, it is exactly what I was looking for, who knew?

That is exactly how it works. What you are putting out to the Universe comes to you. I thought I was looking for the solution to a problem I was having and by finding those sites, I realized...I do not have a problem. I have everything I need in my joyous and grateful life. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to help others and the Universe knows that about me.

These people need our help so lets give it to them.

EASTER SUNDAY FOUR YEARS LATER!

I was sitting in my kitchen last night with two of my children and my daughter’s boyfriend. I was trying to just be there….I watched each of my children as they spoke and realized how amazing they were. I mean, I listen when they talk…but when you quiet your mind and just be…it is amazing what the experience becomes.

I noticed that there is a shelf in my kitchen that I hand painted 4 years ago. I sat there after awhile thinking that I just couldn’t read the date right from the distance I was from the shelf. After a while I got up, and went over to it, and realized I was right, 4 years. The thoughts in my mind at the time were “where did four years go? What had I been doing for four years?” The concept of time was so far from reach. I had nothing to answer the questions with. I know I was here, but I seriously can not put any information into answering those two questions. It was at that moment I realized, that I have been journaling for at least that long, and it was time to collect them and see where I was and what I have been doing. It did not come with a sense of urgency, just a mental note to begin.

In amongst my journals are the answers to the questions and most likely will contain the content that will tell me that I was on my way here.

I am on information overload today and enjoying every moment of it. I just got finished watching the third week of the Oprah Book Club with Eckhart Tolle and I am just brimming with AHA, and OMG…I have been saying that all of my life… moments

As I started to write this post, I looked back to the first page of the notebook I was writing in thinking it began with this class. Well, I realize, that in an attempt to understand why I already had a connection with the “NOW,” I grabbed my DVD of “The Secret” back from my friend Michele last night and took some notes from the movie. The notes I refer to are from one of the extras of the movie, where Bob Proctor is talking and he says, and this is not a direct quote, but if it is, here are the quotation marks, “Belief system is based on our evaluation. Re-evaluate your belief. You can only attract what you are
IN HARMONY WITH.

On page 78 of “A New Earth” Awaken to Your Life’s Purpose”, Eckhart Tolle says “Awareness is the power that is concealed within the present moment…That is why we call it Presence. The ultimate purpose of human existence, which is to say, your purpose is to bring that power into this world.” “Our purpose is to bring awareness to life. If you don’t have a good relationship with “Now,” you don’t have a good relationship with life, because “LIFE IS NOW.”

“You can only attract what you are in harmony with.” You must be in harmony with “PRESENCE.”

I have been saying since I began reading this book that these things are so déjà vu and now I know why. Again, the book to me, is an extension of “The Secret.” I suppose Oprah already knows that, which is why she is Oprah. But, for me, this is just wonderful. My mind which has been labeled as clinically depressed for most of my life, has never been depressed, it has just connected to the wrong “PRESENCE.”

I have had so many AHA moments from the first time I saw ”The Secret” on Oprah and now she has segued into this “awakening.” As I was taking notes through the replay of this class, I wrote this “We need to elect a president that “HAS BEEN AWAKENED”. to help this EVALUATION OF PEACE. We need to raise the percentages of people that are willing to challenge WAR. We should never again be subjected to war. There should never be circumstances which lead us there. More people need to awaken to this thought and begin to practice “Pro Peace”. In the class with Oprah and Eckhart they referred to the Vietnam War and the so called hippies that opposed the war and stood up for peace and fought against the war with demonstrations. The only thing I can see wrong with that entire issue is the number of people that had never experienced this “awakening” in their life. Those that never recognized the tiny little space between the ego and within. This is where we begin to evolve to a higher dimension, which is where we should have been 30 plus years ago.

There is too much material resounding this awareness for us to ignore any longer. Those that recognize this need to stand up and say…”War is never a solution, we never have to be right or wrong we just have to be kind.” I realize that that is simplistic, but the thought is there.

Accepting this moment as it is can connect us with the dimension of depth in ourselves.

This is how we learn to quiet the Ego (mind), by being more fully present NOW. The Now is the hidden exit of the “ego”, because the “ego” does not want you to know that the “Now” is the exit out. From somewhere this comes to mind from the seventies, like I would remember anything form then…”There is no Exit”. I believe it was a play. I just remember coming home one night from a movie and seeing it painted in red on the walkway to our house on campus. I realize this is my mind threading, but the thread leads me to “EXIT HERE.”

THIS ONE IS FOR ME!

Tomorrow signifies the 1st anniversary of the 1st day of the rest of my life. It was 1 year ago tomorrow that I quit smoking and if I have accomplished one thing it is that. I am so glad to have been able to share that with my Aunt last year. Remembering our final 2 conversations, and the message she sent to me, has made me feel blessed to have known she was proud of me. What I have in my life right now, is all anyone could want, although there are things I know I will complete that will bring a sense of peace to myself and to others.

I am glad to have spent this past year looking within and finding the secrets that were always with me. The messages that I had to find, the journeys I had to take, the feelings I had to work through and suffer through only to be blessed on the other side. God has given me a lot of challenges in my life and I am most grateful for each and every one of them, because the other side of all of them, left me with so much more than I could have imagined, as the little girl, living in the sadness that was our life. I am so grateful to have been chosen to live this life and I am spending the rest of it showing my gratitude through OUR GRATITUDE in every way I can.

I will write my blog each day and share my experiences with others and I will complete the cookbook for my family and complete school to be able to help others find the blessings in their life, as I have in mine. I Thank God for the chance to do it all.

LIVE IN THE NOW!

I send a newsletter to my family everyday that has a joke for the day and some words of inspiration. While collecting material for it, I ran across this joke:


The End Is Near!

A local priest and a pastor were fishing on the side of the road. They thoughtfully made a sign saying, "The End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it's too late!" and showed it to each passing car. One driver who drove by didn't appreciate the sign and shouted at them, "Leave us alone, you religious nuts!"

All of a sudden they heard a big splash, looked at each other, and the priest said to the pastor, "You think maybe we should have just said 'Bridge Out' instead?"


I have been thinking all day about the way things are expressed to us and by us. It reminded me that there are so many interpretations of the bible, philosophies on life , opinions, judgments. They are all just words. I came to the conclusion at the end of my day after checking out different sources, that all there is or should be, is the present. What we think, feel and do right now is what matters. Only the NOW matters. Everything else is old, used, and not working, usually, so rather than change how we think, feel or see things, we should just BE, I think Dr. Phil puts it best when he says, “How’s that workin for ya?” When things aren’t working, change your mind…TRY LIVING IN THE NOW!

I'M A RIOT, AREN'T I?

Seriously, I wrote my last blog and talked about the insignificance of money and then I deluge my next post with business ads. Well, the bills have to get paid, despite the value I place on money.
It is unfortunate, but true, that you cannot live without money. Actually people do, but they are usually homeless, without jobs, or disabled, and unable to earn income from home, or survive on disability or retirement. What I was referring to was the necessity to be rich. Being rich provides the ability to help a great deal more people, but even on a steady income, there should always be enough money for helping others.

A friend once taught me that when you lend money...don't lend...GIVE. So I have adopted that policy. That doesn't mean you should come running to me for money...I am still in the process of earning enough to make what i do for others much greater than it is right now.

When I was younger I still remember thinking "Why can't we just run the government with monopoly money? What is the point of money? Why can't the government just print more? Well, I learned that everything is off balance when the economy is off balance, which is the same for the Universe.

When we are out of align with The Universe, our life is not running on a steady course, we are having a hard time, we are dealing with life issues and crises. God never meant for us to go through hard times, but he is actually pleased when we do, and we find the blessing on the other side. So try to always remember to find the blessing, because there absolutely is one for every life issue. Make a list off the top of your head...name as many crises as you can and then look for what would not contain a blessing. You will come up with issues like World Wars and 911 and many others but I promise you, if you look from WITHIN... you will find the blessing. It is always there.

WOW, I AM PROUD OF MYSELF!

I have been on the Internet now, for just about a year, and the whole time I believed that I was trying to make money. It came to me today as I was meditating, that quieting my mind is not an option when I have this need for “financial abundance” I remember watching “The Secret” one day and then going online to find out who knew about it and what I could do with it? How much could it change my life? And I have spent this year buying into, and being deluged with unnecessary distractions, MONEY MAKING SCHEMES. It should never have been my objective, but when I filled out my first profile and it asked what my goals were I wrote this….?

WOW…I just realized that a while back I changed my original goals and intentions but I never changed my “mind set.” This is what they say now:

MY CURRENT INTENTIONS:
My powerful intentions are to be inspirational and truthful to all and to ultimately possess kindness and generosity.

MY LIFE’S PURPOSE:
My life’s purpose is to INSPIRE others, to leave a legacy of that to my children and begin a thread long enough to generate all of these things. And to NEVER stop until I have realized all of my dreams and those of so many, many others!

MY VALUES:
My values are Kindness ,Generosity, Philanthropy, love and my desire to provide for those that have not yet found their way here!

I am no longer looking to make money on the internet, because money is not what is important to me. Oh, I know, of course it is, but not in the sense that I would think about it today. Today, the only reason I would want to make money, is to be able to help others. That is why I have been floundering about my education, my disability, and my JOB. I do not have a “JOB”, I have a dream, and I can already see my dream taking place. I see the people around me that are influenced by my life, I see the changes in others, that are there, as a direct result of my introducing them to “The Secret.” I feel blessed.

The last two nights I have made phone calls to a friend and a relative and I realized that I have said the same thing to each of them. Money is not important to “me“, my “purpose” is. “I” have everything “I” need , but many, many, others do not. So “I” am taking “ME” out of the equation and will only be focusing on “them." So if anyone was waiting to make money from me, that is no longer an option. Making money for “others” is where I’ll be, and it’s is actually where I have been the whole time. It has always been in my subconscious that, when I reached financial abundance, it would be to make the dreams of others come true and by doing that, my own would be realized, and it does not stop today, as I wrote above:

And to NEVER stop until I have realized all of my dreams and those of so many, many others!
So, my goal is still “financial abundance,” but it is to make the dreams of others come true with it.

My oldest son said to me one time, not too long ago, “If you ever win the lottery, we’ll have to take it away from you, because you will give it all away.” He said that with humor, because I know, my three children, are kind and generous beings, and that is one of the many things I love so much about them.

This is a good day. This is a day of “awakening” to my life’s purpose. I think Eckhart Tolle and Oprah would be proud of me, I certainly am. WOW! I AM. I AM ACTUALLY PROUD OF MYSELF!

When I first began to apply The Law of Attraction to my life, I was phobic and unable to live in the outside world. I was living within. Although living within is characterized as a disability, in relation to state of mind; I have found the most wonderful and clarifying state of being~~~within.

There is a world of people that walk the earth, never knowing the part of the mind I experience now. The creative function of our mind is where we should all live~~~ within. Quieting the mind and separating the messages, has given me the ability to attract into my life, an abundance of all that is desired. Losing fear, gave me the ability open my mind to the messages that most never get to hear. LOSE the fear, there is nothing in the mind that we should ever be afraid of, but most people never experience the quiet unwatched mind. It is truly an amazing place to explore and I Thank God, oh yes, and Oprah, for introducing me to the Law of Attraction through “The Secret.” I am in love with the journey I am on. I hope everyone will CHOOSE to explore it and remember this:

STOP FAILING!

STOP FAILING!
After yesterday (last night) I thought I would not find my way back. I was sitting there crying to God about how my life still doesn’t have what I need. But I also told him I was grateful for what I had, but I felt like there were people counting on me to do something BIG. And I felt because I had not gotten there, I had failed. Well, I remembered that “I took failure out of my dictionary.” Yup, just cut it right out! And I am back on track today having realized it is just not my time, I have more work to do.
Service is a crucial element in the journey to success. Learning to give before you ever think about getting. The thing is, I thought I was giving and servicing. I was following through with my intention to help one person everyday, even if it was just a matter of a little advice or something big like needing money or food or any kind of help. Truth is, that is still an excuse to not feel worthy of success. I do not mean that I should not be doing those things. I just mean by focusing only on that, I was not moving to what I determined to be my BURNING DESIRE. Oh, there were baby steps…I was taking those, but patience is never something I have been good at. So I need to do more work on developing patience. (That is a new intention)
I read an article this morning about an interview that Joe Vitaledid with Will Bowen and he asked him about his interview with Oprah. Bill said this:
“Between takes Oprah leaned over to me and said, ‘I have nothing to complain about’.
“At first I thought she meant she had nothing to complain about because she’s Oprah and life is good.
“But we talked and I learned that her life is so great because she doesn’t complain to begin with. She always focuses on what she wants. Her not complaining created the Oprah we see.”
When I read that article, I realized that “The Law of Attraction” was all over it and I thanked God that I know it exists and helped me to find that message.
